PROPOSED EXTENSION OF SAND AND GRAVEL WORKINGS AND VARIATION OF CONDITION 2 OF PLANNING PERMISSION C2/92/500/53, LADYBRIDGE FARM, MOOR LANE, THORNBOROUGH

APPEAL STARTING DATE : 26 JULY 2006

I am writing to advise you that an appeal has been lodged with the Secretary of State by Tarmac Limited in respect of the above proposal.

The appeal follows the refusal of planning permission for the extension of sand and gravel workings and variation of condition 2 of planning permission number C2/92/500/53 (North Yorkshire County Council Reference : C2/92/500/0053A).

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry into the matter (I shall write to you again when a date and venue has been arranged).

Any comments already made at the application stage will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant and will be taken into account by the Inspector in dealing with the appeal.

Should you wish to make any additional comments, you should write to the Planning Inspectorate, Room 3/12A, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN quoting reference APP/P2745/A/06/2016723/NWF (enclosing three copies of your letter), not later than six weeks after the appeal starting date. If representations are received after the deadline , they will not normally be seen by the Inspector and they will be returned.
